MediaTek svela il processore octa-core MT6795

MediaTek ha ufficialmente svelato il chipset octa-core a 64-bit MT6795, un SoC che integra al suo interno il modem 4G LTE ed è in grado di supportare anche i display 2k. L'MT6795 ha una frequenza di clock massima di 2,2 Ghz e dispone della tecnologia CorePilot, che fornirà prestazioni multi-processor a fianco del controllo termico. Il nuovo chip sfoggia anche un doppio canale LPDDR3 e può riprodurre 480 fotogrammi al secondo ad una risoluzione di 1080p. Il produttore ha annunciato che i primi smartphone con a bordo l'MT6795 arriveranno nei negozi entro la fine del 2014.
