CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) has confirmed that CEDIA Expo, the only showcase and education event for the trade dedicated to home electronics technology, will return to ExCeL London next year, running from 25th to 28th June 2007.

"ExCeL London has fulfilled its promise as the right home for the CEDIA Expo" says Operations Director, Wendy Griffiths. "It has proven to offer us better, more integrated facilities, allowing us the room that we needed to expand our popular CEDIA education programme, and provided bigger, more coherent space for exhibitors. It also gives us room to grow the event, as the industry itself expands in size. We are delighted to announce that in 2007 the event will be coming back to the same venue in the same month."

For CEDIA Expo 2007, the organizers plan to offer additional exhibition space over and above the 6,000m2 of high quality floor space provided for CEDIA Expo 2006. The organizers also plan to utilize extra training rooms for the popular, and expanding, CEDIA Expo seminar programme.

From modest beginnings in Harrogate in 1996, when just over 300 attended, the CEDIA UK Expo attracted over 4,700 trade visitors to the 2005 event held at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham. The event continues to grow at an impressive and consistent rate. In 2006, over 130 companies booked stands in the exhibition, with space selling out months ahead of the event, whilst the education programme featured an 82% increase in training time compared to the CEDIA Expo 2005 schedule.
